About: At News Channel 8, I serve as the primary print designer. I often create any signage, stationary, and other elements needed within the station's branding. Left: sales requested a folder that could be used when visiting clients to improve the visual representation of their paperwork. Right: Pull-up banners used to decorate our lobby and brand events.

Task: I’ve created many print elements for the station including billboards, station signage, murals, folders, pull-up banners, and more. I design the elements and then coordinate the printing and installation of pieces.

About: As marketing employees at News Channel 8, we are all expected to ideate and pitch promotional concepts to run on our air and external media to promote our channel. Once chosen by the creative services director, we are designated to lead the entire creative process of bringing our promotion to life.
Community Spotlight Series
Task: I pitched a community spotlight series to partner with small business owners who watch News Channel 8. In honor of the on-your-side promise, promoting community to me is often about supporting the small businesses that make their neighborhoods special. Spotlighting small businesses in promotions allowed us to utilize marketing time budgets to support small businesses who depend on News Channel 8 to stay informed within our community.

About: News Channel 8 has been producing a hurricane guide to support local efforts toward hurricane preparedness for many years. Starting as a monumental print guide distributed by the humble team during the early days of WFLA, the once useful guide was forgotten by time.
