Xpression is a template-building program typically used in the news industry to allow producers to add text to pre-made graphics through a user-friendly plug-in.

Lyric X is Chron’s version of Ross’ Xpresson program.

Xpression uses Visual Basic code for more advanced functions. It also utilizes a block format of Visual Basic called “Visual Logic”. An example of Xpression scripting is used above in my graph template.
